Nursing is the art of caring for people. “The unique function of the nurse is to assist the individual, sick or well, in the performance of those activities contributing to health or its recovery (or to peaceful death) that he would perform unaided if he had the necessary strength, will, or knowledge.
The art of nursing is more than mere science. It is more than just knowledge; it is doing, While doctors diagnose and prescribe, nurses, focus on the overall well-being of their patients. For nurses, it’s not just about ailments or drugs, it’s also about personal connections/ emotions. This is why it is important to celebrate these great nurses who have been on the frontline since the beginning of the pandemic COVID ’19 and saving lives.
Every May 12th is International nurses day with the theme for this year A Voice to Lead-A vision for future healthcare
